HSF4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein heat shock transcription factor 4, which is encoded by the HSF4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in lens fiber cell differentiation and the regulation of transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 492 residues, a mass of 53 kDa, and is a member of the HSF protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is found to be expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, eye and brain, and at much lower levels in some other tissues. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally phosphorylated. The HSF4 gene has been associated with the disease, Cataracts. Other alias names for this target include CTRCT5, heat shock factor protein 4, HSTF 4, hHSF4, and CTM.
Some HSF4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
