GPR119 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 119, which is encoded by the GPR119 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor for the endogenous fatty-acid ethanolamide oleoylethanolamide (OEA) and lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 335 residues, a mass of 36.9 kDa, and is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the the pancreas, especially in the islets. Other alias names for this target include glucose-dependent insulinotropic receptor and G-protein coupled receptor 2.
The detection range for different Gpr119 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
