YJU2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein YJU2 splicing factor homolog, which is encoded by the YJU2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be a part of the spliceosome which catalyzes two sequential transesterification reactions, first the excision of the non-coding intron from pre-mRNA and then the ligation of the coding exons to form the mature mRNA. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 323 residues, a mass of 37.1 kDa, and is a member of the CWC16 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus. Other alias names for this target include coiled-coil domain containing 94, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 94, and splicing factor YJU2.
