UBE2D1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ubiquitin conjugating enzyme E2 D1, which is encoded by the UBE2D1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to accept ubiquitin from the E1 complex and catalyzes its covalent attachment to other proteins. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 147 residues, a mass of 16.6 kDa, and is a member of the Ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. Other alias names for this target include SFT, UBC4/5, UBCH5, UBCH5A, (E3-independent) E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme D1, and E2(17)KB1.
