ADAM33 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ADAM metallopeptidase domain 33, which is encoded by the ADAM33 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in proteolysis. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 813 residues and a mass of 87.7 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is reported to be expressed in all tissues, except liver, with high expression in placenta, lung, spleen and veins. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. The ADAM33 gene has been associated with the disease, Asthma.
