ADAM22 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ADAM metallopeptidase domain 22, which is encoded by the ADAM22 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a suspected ligand for integrin in the brain. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 906 residues and a mass of 100.4 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the brain and in some high-grade but not low-grade gliomas. As many as 5 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved and glycosylated. The ADAM22 gene has been associated with the disease, Developmental and epileptic encephalopathy. Other alias names for this target include EIEE61, MDC2, disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 22, a disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain 22, and DEE61.
Some ADAM22 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.15 ng/mL and as high as 300 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
