These HDAC ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of HDAC in biological samples. HDAC is an alias of the human HDAC9 gene, which encodes the protein, histone deacetylase 9. Notably, HDAC is known to play a role in B cell differentiation and insulin signaling pathways, among other functions. The HDAC9 protein is 1011 amino acid residues in length and 111.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 11 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is widely expressed across many tissues, with highest levels in the brain, heart, muscle and testis. This protein is known to be sumoylated and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include HD7, HD7b, and HD9.
There are HDAC ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 80 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
