Anti-MAPKK4 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MAPKK4 antigen is another term for the human protein mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 4, encoded by the MAP2K4 gene. The protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 399 residues and a mass of 44.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the breast, thyroid gland, and adrenal gland. The MAPKK4 protein is a member of the STE Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Other alias names for MAPKK4 include JNKK and JNKK1. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAPKK4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
