Anti-DGK-gamma antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DGK-gamma antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DGKG gene, which encodes diacylglycerol kinase gamma. This protein is known to function in the metabolism of lipids and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of DGK-gamma has a canonical amino acid length of 791 residues and a protein mass of 89.1 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in soft tissue, colon, and cerebral cortex. Other names for this target antigen include DAGK3 and DAG kinase gamma. Indicated applications for DGK-gamma antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
