Anti-C10orf59 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The C10orf59 antigen is another term for the human protein renalase, FAD dependent amine oxidase, encoded by the RNLS gene. The protein is known to catalyze the oxidation of the less abundant 1,2-dihydro-beta-NAD(P) and 1,6-dihydro-beta-NAD(P) to form beta-NAD(P)(+). Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 342 residues and a mass of 37.8 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein. The C10orf59 protein is a member of the Renalase protein family. Other alias names for C10orf59 include RENALASE and MAO-C.
