Anti-CSN5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CSN5 is a known alias name of the protein COP9 signalosome subunit 5, encoded by the COPS5 gene in humans. This 334-amino acid residue protein is a suspected protease subunit of the COP9 signalosome complex (CSN), a complex involved in various cellular and developmental processes. It is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term JAB1 is another synonym for CSN5. Western Blot is the most common application for the CSN5 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
