Anti-TRMT44 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tRNA methyltransferase 44 homolog. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 757 amino acid residues and a mass of 84.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TRM44 protein family, TRMT44 is a suspected adenosyl-L-methionine (AdoMet)-dependent tRNA (uracil-O(2)-)-methyltransferase. Synonyms for this target antigen include methyltransferase like 19, methyltransferase-like protein 19, and probable tRNA (uracil-O(2)-)-methyltransferase. TRMT44 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the TRMT44 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunocytochemistry is also a common application.
