Anti-SIGLEC16 Antibody Products

Anti-SIGLEC16 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sialic acid binding Ig like lectin 16. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 481 amino acid residues and a mass of 53 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is reported to be expressed in bone marrow, fetal brain, fetal liver, lung and salivary gland. A member of the SIGLEC (sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin) protein family, SIGLEC16 is believed to be an adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include sialic acid binding Ig-like lectin, pseudogene 16 and sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 16. These SIGLEC16 antibodies are widely used in Flow Cytometry experiments, among other applications.
