Anti-RMDN1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein regulator of microtubule dynamics 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 314 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, stomach, and bone marrow. It is a member of the RMDN protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include FAM82B, RMD-1, RMD1, regulator of microtubule dynamics protein 1, family with sequence similarity 82, member B, and CGI-90. RMDN1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the Rmdn1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
