Anti-HA3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HA3 is a known alias name of the protein A-kinase anchoring protein 13, encoded by the AKAP13 gene in humans. This 2813-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a scaffold protein that plays an important role in assembling signaling complexes downstream of several types of G protein-coupled receptors. It is localized to the membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in mammary gland. Other synonyms for HA3 include AKAP-Lbc, AKAP-Lbc, and ARHGEF13. A number of HA3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Immunofluorescence experiments, among other applications.
