Anti-BRICD5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein BRICHOS domain containing 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 260 amino acid residues and a mass of 28.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. BRICD5 is known to be involved with the regulation of cell proliferation. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include BRICHOS domain-containing protein 5 and BRICHOS domain-containing protein C16orf79. BRICD5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These BRICD5 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
