Anti-Thyroglobulin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TG in humans. The Thyroglobulin protein has an expected mass of 304.8 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as TGN and AITD3. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
