Anti-ARD1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ARD1 is a known alias name of the protein tripartite motif containing 23, encoded by the TRIM23 gene in humans. This 574-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. It is localized to the Golgi, lysosomes and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
