This target is a reported synonym of the LDLRAD4 gene, which encodes low density lipoprotein receptor class A domain containing 4. This protein is known to function in the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of C18orf1 has a canonical amino acid length of 306 residues and a protein mass of 33.9 kilodaltons, although 8 isoforms have been identified.
