Anti-TROVE1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TROVE1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TEP1 gene, which encodes telomerase associated protein 1. This protein is a known component of the telomerase ribonucleoprotein complex that is essential for the replication of chromosome termini. The human version of TROVE1 has a canonical amino acid length of 2627 residues and a protein mass of 290.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells.
