Anti-TEX29 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein testis expressed 29. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 151 amino acid residues and a mass of 16.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Synonyms for this target antigen include testis-expressed protein 29 and testis-expressed sequence 29 protein. TEX29 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species.
