Anti-ZPC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZPC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZP3 gene, which encodes zona pellucida glycoprotein 3. This protein is known to function in the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of ZPC has a canonical amino acid length of 424 residues and a protein mass of 47 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the ovary. Other names for this target antigen include OOMD3, OZEMA3, and ZP3A. Indicated applications for ZPC antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
