XIP, or Late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor, MAPK and MTOR activator 5, is a human gene encoded by LAMTOR5. It may also be known as: Ragulator complex protein LAMTOR5; Hepatitis B virus X-interacting protein; HBV X-interacting protein; HBX-interacting protein; Late endosomal/lysosomal adaptor and MAPK and MTOR activator 5; hepatitis B virus x-interacting protein (9.6kD); HBXIP. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 91 and a mass of 9.6 kDa. XIP is a member of the LAMTOR5 family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Mouse, Rat, Frog.
