Anti-U5-100K antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the U5-100K antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DDX23 gene, which encodes DEAD-box helicase 23. This protein is known to function in RNA splicing, among other biological roles. The human version of U5-100K has a canonical amino acid length of 820 residues and a protein mass of 95.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include PRPF28, SNRNP100, and U5-100K.
