Anti-WAP12 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the WAP12 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the WFDC10B gene, which encodes WAP four-disulfide core domain 10B. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of WAP12 has a canonical amino acid length of 73 residues and a protein mass of 8.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein.
