Anti-TPGS1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tubulin polyglutamylase complex subunit 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 290 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. TPGS1 is a known subunit of the tubulin polyglutamylase complex (TPGC). Synonyms for this target antigen include gene trap ROSA b-geo 22 and polyglutamylase subunit 1. TPGS1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TPGS1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
