Anti-TESS antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TESS is a known alias name of the protein testin LIM domain protein, encoded by the TES gene in humans. This 421-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a scaffold protein that may play a role in cell adhesion, cell spreading and in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for TESS include TESS-2 and testin. Indicated applications for TESS antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
