Anti-UNC112 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The UNC112 antigen is another term for the human protein FERM domain containing kindlin 2, encoded by the FERMT2 gene. The protein is reported to be a scaffolding protein that enhances integrin activation mediated by TLN1 and/or TLN2, but activates integrins only weakly by itself. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 680 residues and a mass of 77.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The UNC112 protein is a member of the Kindlin protein family.
