Anti-UK114 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UK114 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RIDA gene, which encodes reactive intermediate imine deaminase A homolog. This protein is known to function in brain development and kidney development, among other biological roles. The human version of UK114 has a canonical amino acid length of 137 residues and a protein mass of 14.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the kidney and liver. Other names for this target antigen include HRSP12, P14.5, and PSP. A number of UK114 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
