Anti-Sytv antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Sytv antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SYT5 gene, which encodes synaptotagmin 5. This protein is known to function in chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological roles. The human version of Sytv has a canonical amino acid length of 386 residues and a protein mass of 42.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and notably expressed in the cerebellum. This target antigen may also be known as synaptotagmin V. These Sytv antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
