Anti-SYM1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SYM1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NOG gene, which encodes noggin. This protein is known to function in cartilage development, among other biological roles. The human version of SYM1 has a canonical amino acid length of 232 residues and a protein mass of 25.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein that is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the endometrium and placenta. SYM1 is a member of the Noggin protein family. Indicated applications for SYM1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
