Anti-PAD-H19 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PAD-H19 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PADI2 gene, which encodes peptidyl arginine deiminase 2. This protein is known to function in chromatin remodeling, among other biological roles. The human version of PAD-H19 has a canonical amino acid length of 665 residues and a protein mass of 75.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the breast and caudate. Other names for this target antigen include PAD2 and PDI2. Indicated applications for PAD-H19 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
