Anti-TTP1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TTP1 is a known alias name of the protein alpha tocopherol transfer protein, encoded by the TTPA gene in humans. This 278-amino acid residue protein is known to bind alpha-tocopherol, enhances its transfer between separate membranes, and stimulates its release from liver cells. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell.
