Anti-SHINC3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SHINC3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMEM33 gene, which encodes transmembrane protein 33. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of SHINC3 has a canonical amino acid length of 247 residues and a protein mass of 28 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SHINC3 is a member of the PER33/POM33 protein family.
