Anti-Rgc1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Rgc1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARHGAP4 gene, which encodes Rho GTPase activating protein 4. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of Rgc1 has a canonical amino acid length of 946 residues and a protein mass of 105 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the seminal vesicle, lymph node, lung, bone marrow, and appendix. This target antigen may also be known as C1. Indicated applications for Rgc1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
