Anti-RAB27 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RAB27 is a known alias name of the protein RAB27A, member RAS oncogene family, encoded by the RAB27A gene in humans. This 221-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a Small GTPase which cycles between active GTP-bound and inactive GDP-bound states. It is localized to the lysosomes and membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be found in all the examined tissues except in the brain. Other synonyms for RAB27 include GS2 and HsT18676. Western Blot is the most common application for the RAB27 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
