Anti-SEZ17 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SEZ17 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NREP gene, which encodes neuronal regeneration related protein. This protein is known to function in regulation of neuron differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of SEZ17 has a canonical amino acid length of 68 residues and a protein mass of 7.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include C5orf13, D4S114, and P311.
