Anti-TCEAL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transcription elongation factor A like 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 200 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the TFS-II protein family, TCEAL3 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include TCEA-like protein 3, transcription elongation factor A (SII)-like 3, transcription elongation factor S-II protein-like 3, and transcription elongation factor A protein-like 3. TCEAL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TCEAL3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
