Anti-SIP1-delta antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SIP1-delta antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GEMIN2 gene, which encodes gem nuclear organelle associated protein 2. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and RNA splicing, among other biological roles. The human version of SIP1-delta has a canonical amino acid length of 280 residues and a protein mass of 31.6 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include SIP1 and gem-associated protein 2. Western Blot is the most common application for the SIP1-delta antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
