Anti-Tafa-1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Tafa-1 antigen is another term for the human protein TAFA chemokine like family member 1, encoded by the TAFA1 gene. The protein is reported to be a regulatory factor, which is ligand for CMKLR2 and is involved in the modulation of neural stem-cell proliferation and differentiation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 133 residues and a mass of 14.9 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to have brain-specific expression. The Tafa-1 protein is a member of the TAFA protein family.
