Anti-SP-10 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SP-10 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ACRV1 gene, which encodes acrosomal vesicle protein 1. This protein is known to function in spermatogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of SP-10 has a canonical amino acid length of 265 residues and a protein mass of 28.2 kilodaltons, although 11 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include D11S4365 and SP-10.
