Anti-SID6-1512 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SID6-1512 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NEK6 gene, which encodes NIMA related kinase 6. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cell division, among other biological roles. The human version of SID6-1512 has a canonical amino acid length of 313 residues and a protein mass of 35.7 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the fallopian tube and gallbladder. This target antigen may also be known as SID6-1512.
