Anti-RPML3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RPML3 is a known alias name of the protein mitochondrial ribosomal protein L3, encoded by the MRPL3 gene in humans. This 348-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in mitochondrial translation and protein translation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
