Anti-SVAP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SVAP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SNAP47 gene, which encodes synaptosome associated protein 47. This protein is known to function in exocytosis, among other biological roles. The human version of SVAP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 464 residues and a protein mass of 52.6 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SVAP1 is a member of the SVAP1 protein family.
