Anti-RPCL1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RPCL1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RCL1 gene, which encodes RNA terminal phosphate cyclase like 1. This protein is known to be a part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. The human version of RPCL1 has a canonical amino acid length of 373 residues and a protein mass of 40.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include RNAC and RNA 3'-terminal phosphate cyclase-like protein.
