Anti-TBRBP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TBRBP is a known alias name of the protein translin, encoded by the TSN gene in humans. This 228-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a dna-binding protein that specifically recognizes consensus sequences at the breakpoint junctions in chromosomal translocations, mostly involving immunoglobulin (Ig)/T-cell receptor gene segments. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell. Other synonyms for TBRBP include BCLF-1, C3PO, and RCHF1. Indicated applications for TBRBP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
