Anti-RRP5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RRP5 is a known alias name of the protein programmed cell death 11, encoded by the PDCD11 gene in humans. This 1871-amino acid residue protein is known to be important for the generation of mature 18S rRNA, specifically necessary for cleavages at sites A0, 1 and 2 of the 47S precursor. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for RRP5 include ALG-4, ALG4, and NFBP. Indicated applications for RRP5 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
