Anti-SSI3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SSI3 is a known alias name of the protein suppressor of cytokine signaling 3, encoded by the SOCS3 gene in humans. This 225-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in intracellular signal transduction and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological processes. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be widely expressed with high expression in the heart, placenta, skeletal muscle, peripheral blood leukocytes, fetal and adult lung, and fetal liver and kidney. Other synonyms for SSI3 include ATOD4, CIS3, and Cish3. Some SSI3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
