Anti-SPRR1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SPRR1 is a known alias name of the protein small proline rich protein 1B, encoded by the SPRR1B gene in humans. This 89-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epidermis development and keratinocyte differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. Other synonyms for SPRR1 include CORNIFIN, CORNIFIN, and GADD33.
