Anti-RZRA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RZRA is a known alias name of the protein RAR related orphan receptor A, encoded by the RORA gene in humans. This 523-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a nuclear receptor that binds DNA as a monomer to ROR response elements (RORE) containing a single core motif half-site 5'-AGGTCA-3' preceded by a short A-T-rich sequence. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features methylated, ubiquitinated, sumoylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed in a number of tissues. Other synonyms for RZRA include IDDECA, NR1F1, and ROR1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the RZRA antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
